Reviews

“Sage and prunes on the nose – seriously interesting bouquet already. Massive splurge of fruit on the palate with very fine tannins – tannins so fine that you could actually enjoy this this year, provided you didn't have a cellarful of more mature vintage port. Very winning already. Lovely freshness on the finish. Very smart indeed.” 18.5/20

“Very deep coloured. Incredibly elegant, fresh nose with wonderful raspberry, blackberry and cherry fruit purity. Astonishingly aromatic and floral. The palate has concentrated, smooth, elegant fruit with lovely structure and poise, as well as a hint of mint freshness.”
97 points, Jamie Goode, wineanorak.com
“A very wet winter was followed by an extraordinarily hot summer, leading to a general declaration. This is still very deep and youthful in colour, wonderfully extrovert and opulent on the nose, showing mint and classic floral aromas. It's sweet, suave and fleshy on the palate, with voluptuous plum and berry fruit and lovely definition. The flesh masks the tannins, which rise in the mouth leading to a rich and powerful finish. Lovely now but better still in five years.”
