Verget Pouilly-Fuissé 1er Cru Sur la Roche 2025

Sur la Roche is a south-east facing Premier Cru on the Roche de Vergisson. In the Mâconnais, 2025 offered many excesses: abundant rain, hail and two heatwaves of rare intensity. August brought one of the longest heatwaves ever recorded, and the berries remained small, concentrating sugar and acidity. Winemaker Julien Desplans says the wine “presents the ideal balance between minerality and density on the palate. Its tannic structure suggests great aging potential.”
