Domaine Goisot Bourgogne Côtes d'Auxerre Corps de Garde Rouge 2023

Pinot Noir. Goisot’s Côtes d’Auxerre reds have all the brightness, energy and chalky tannins that you might expect of Pinot Noir grown on limestone in a cool climate. This is one of the best reds we’ve shipped from this producer. It comes from vines aged 40 to 60 years, grown on Kimmeridgian limestone with alternating layers of clay and marl. Expect a super lifted and perfumed Pinot with vibrant red and dark cherry fruit, hints of anise, and a long powdery close. A great example of Auxerre Pinot.
