Domaine Goisot Bourgogne Côtes d'Auxerre Blanc 2023

Chardonnay. This classically styled, delicious white Burgundy comes from vines aged between 10 and 30 years, rooted in Portlandian limestone scree and Barrois limestone (very hard, white, angular limestone that contributes to the wine's structure). It spends 10 to 12 months on fine lees in steel tanks, with very low use of SO₂. More killer value. Ripe yet racy, with layers of lovely crunchy nectarine, and lemon pith and fine phenolics bringing a touch of chew.
