Domaine Ghislaine Barthod Chambolle-Musigny 2023

Barthod’s village is a blend of 12 parcels across just 1.5 hectares, including old vines in Aux Croix and Les Herbues. The Domaine also declassifies its younger vines from Premier Cru Les Chatelots (still 40 years old) into this cuvée. It sees minimal new oak. This is one of Chambolle’s finest village wines, and the 2023 is super: fleshy, layered, and seductive with a fine, powdery close.
