One of the greatest Bourgogne-level whites that we know, this comes from just over a single hectare spread across five parcels—all in Meursault and all alongside village-level vineyards. These parcels are Sous la Velle, En l’Ormeau, Les Herbeux, Les Lameroses and La Monatine. The average age of the vines is 20 years. Further, the 2021 includes two barrels of wine from declassified young vines (2015) in Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Derrière Chez Edouard. It’s a gorgeous, pretty yet tightly wound Bourgogne of the highest order.

Reviews

"The 2021 Bourgogne Blanc offers light tropical tones on the nose, maybe just missing a little bite. The palate is simple and quite primal, grapefruit mixed with orange rind, just a little short on the finish."
84-86 points, Neal Martin, Vinous
“Pale colour with a pretty bouquet of no particular emphasis. Then much more depth than expected, with fresh citrus following on from white stone fruit. Racy finish. Good. Drink from 2024-2026.”
86-87 points, Jasper Morris MW, Inside Burgundy
“Hmm – now that’s nice – a very Meursault nose. Direct, a little muscle, plenty of structure but beautifully mouthwatering too. Steely finishing even – that’s simply excellent! Lovely citrus bitters vibrating in the finish…”
