One of the greatest Bourgogne-level whites that we know, this comes from just over a single hectare spread across five parcels—all in Meursault and all alongside village-level vineyards. These parcels are Sous la Velle, En l’Ormeau, Les Herbeux, Les Lameroses and La Monatine. The average age of the vines is 20 years. Further, the 2021 includes two barrels of wine from declassified young vines (2015) in Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Derrière Chez Edouard. It’s a gorgeous, pretty yet tightly wound Bourgogne of the highest order.
