Château Closiot Barsac Cuvée Bonneau 2024

From the Clos Bonneau in Barsac, where red clay and pebbles rest on limestone bedrock, with vines averaging around fifty years of age. Harvested in the morning under the sun to concentrate the botrytis, the berries undergo six rigorous sorting passes before gentle vertical pressing. Fermented in French oak barrels, 60% new, and aged on the lees. Peach, apricot, candied citrus and honey, with the sweetness perfectly counterbalanced by a lovely natural acidity.
