This lieu-dit is located above the village of Échevronne, just below Fussey, at the border between the Hautes Côtes de Beaune and the Hautes Côtes de Nuits on the Beaune side. This southeast-facing slope, rich in stone and limestone/marl, is Chanterêves’ lowest-altitude parcel in the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune at 400m. The low-fertility soils make for very modest yields. There are permanent cover crops between the rows, and mulching takes place just twice a year to minimise soil compaction.
