Having managed of Comte Armand for 15 years, Benjamin Leroux knows a thing or two about producing great Pommard! The 2018 blends Les Cras and Les Vaumuriens, both on the Volnay side of the village, with the cooler hillside fruit of Vaumuriens bringing freshness and balance to the vintage’s natural power. Entirely destemmed and raised with roughly 20% new oak, it combines depth and generosity with the structure and definition that distinguish Leroux’s work.
