Drawn from various vineyards with vines that are between 20 and 90 years old, this Aligoté is planted in Kimmeridgian soils of red and brown clay rich in limestone fossils. With vines this old, it’s a serious Aligoté, raised simply in tank to let the vineyards do the talking. Again, Deep, earthy, and packed with mixed stone fruit and succulent citrussy depths.

The palate is well balanced, with a caressing, slightly oily texture, the intensity countered by a keen line of acidity, with hints of white peach and pear. This has a purity that would embarrass some of the Aligoté in the Côte d'Or that sell for ridiculous sums. This Aligoté also sells for a ridiculous sum, in a wallet-friendly way."
