Planted to MV6 and D5V12, this site grows mature, low-yielding vines in a warm, sheltered site where flavour and tannin are ample. The D5V12 was picked early chasing red fruits and perfume, whilst the smaller portion of MV6 waited longer for grunt and depth. This wine sits at around 40% whole bunch with 11 months in French oak (mostly second and third fill). It’s a Burgundian wine without doubt, with a classic, savoury and refined finish.
