Paul Gadenne Chignin Bergeron Roussanne 2022

Bergeron is the local name for Roussanne. Gadenne’s 0.4-hectare plot of 40-year-old vines is in the Chignin commune. The soils hold more sand and loam than some of his more clay-dense plots in the same region. The vines sit at 400 metres, face southwest and give meagre yields that rarely exceed 25hl/ha. Handpicked fruit is vinified in stainless steel tanks and bottled after eight months.
