Paul Gadenne Chignin Bergeron Roussanne 2020

Bergeron is the local name for Roussanne. The fruit is sourced from a 0.4-hectare plot of organically certified, 50-year-old-vines that sit on calcareous clay, facing west. The plot is planted to 7,500 vines per hectare and yields are a low 25hl/ha. Hand-picked fruit was pressed gently for two hours and fermented in stainless steel tanks. The wine went through full malo and was aged for six months on lees in tank.
