MDI Pinot Grigio 2026

A mature family vineyard in Mildura’s Murray–Darling region, planted on limestone-studded red-brown loam. The 2026 fruit was machine harvested in the cool of dawn and taken immediately to the winery, where it was pressed without sulphur. Only the finest portion—the heart of the press—was retained. The juice was fermented at cool temperatures, then settled to clarify before filtration and bottling. It was a challenging vintage, with extreme heat requiring careful timing in the vineyard, but picking ahead of significant rain helped preserve the fruit. An excellent result in tank.
