MDI Friulano Skin Ed XI 2026

The 2026 Friulano comes from the Pasut family vineyard in Mildura’s Murray–Darling region, planted on limestone-studded red-brown loam with rare Friulano material sourced from the CSIRO nursery in the 1980s. The golden-skinned fruit was fully destemmed and fermented on skins for 18 days before being pressed and rough-racked to seasoned French puncheons. It was removed from wood in the final week of June, resulting in a fresher style than previous vintages, with a little natural CO₂ adding further lift. Bottled on 10 July with modest sulphur, the wine was bottled unfined and unfiltered.
