Biodynamic. Jo Landron is one of Muscadet's true pioneers, a grower who put the appellation's terroirs on the map long before the Loire became fashionable. La Louvetrie is the estate's only wine made from a blend of different sites, drawing together soils rich in amphibolite, sand, clay and gneiss, and including younger-vine fruit from Landron's top vineyards. Each soil brings its own character, and together they give a fuller picture of the Landron terroirs than any single site could.
The fruit is hand harvested, fermented with native yeasts and rests on its lees, the careful, patient approach that runs through every Landron wine. It is a blinder of a wine packed with juicy fruit and vibrant Atlantic zing.
