This deliciously quirky red from Jean-Marie Guffens is a blend of half Syrah and half Cabernet. For 2025, Guffens simplified the winemaking to make it very fruity, and the wine was aged entirely in stainless steel from the start. A lovely bistro style red.
2025 was a tough vintage at Tourettes. In Guffens’ words, “The harvest was the smallest since we arrived.” The heat cost him 30 to 40% of the crop, depending on the grape variety, and hail just before the harvest didn’t help matters.
