This year, the Commune of Buttons Rosé is 100% Nebbiolo sourced from a paltry 0.2 hectares of vines in the estate’s Clover Vineyard. The site is 1.5 hectares and sits 350 metres on clay, sandstone and quartz soils. The fruit was picked by hand at the beginning of May and destemmed to tank for one week before being pressed off and matured for 18 months.

Jasper’s notes: The wine has the characteristic red fruits of Nebbiolo: cherries, cardamom and currants, with persistent ashy tannins. Juicy acidity defines this wine.
