Commune of Buttons Nebbiolo Rosato 2024

The 2024 Commune of Buttons Nebbiolo Rosato comes from a tiny 0.2-hectare planting in the Clover Vineyard, with only 1,600 bottles produced. Harvested early in April to preserve brightness and lift, the fruit was chilled overnight, destemmed, and given six days of skin contact before fermentation. It was then pressed to stainless steel to finish ferment, followed by 18 months’ maturation on fine lees. Bottled without sulphur additions, the result is a precise, energetic rosato. Tight and driven by acidity, it shows Nebbiolo’s signature red berry tones with a subtle tannin grip from its brief time on skins. Focused, lively, and finely structured, it finishes long and clean. Simply delicious!
