Alfredo Maestro El Rey Del Glam 2021

Half the grapes for this 100% Garnacha were drawn from vineyards in the Sierra de Gredos in Navarredondilla and the other 50% are from vineyards in Peñafiel (Valladolid). The soil types include granitic rock, sand, clay and limestone, and they sit at altitudes between 700 and 920 metres in Peñafiel and a lofty 1100 metres in the Sierra de Gredos. Grapes were harvested by hand and clusters were processed without crushing or destemming. Natural fermentation was in stainless steel tanks with daily pump-overs and no additions. The wine was then taken outside into the cold of winter to clarify and stabilise naturally. It was racked one last time before bottling.
