Burgundy’s Jean-Marie Guffens picked his Barsac vineyard in three “tris” over a month in 2025, inspired by Yquem. Yields were negligible at 18 hl/ha, and he describes the wine as having the density of a sweet wine, but without the sugar. Le C de Sec is mainly Sémillon with a little Sauvignon Gris, matured all in barrel with 25% new oak.
