Picked on the 24th of February, the fruit fermented as 50% whole bunches and 50% whole berries, spending 18 days on skins before pressing to French oak barriques (10% new) for 10 months' maturation, finishing at 13.6% ABV. The 2025 season opened warm and dry and ran on into a similarly dry summer, delivering an early, compressed vintage with fantastic phenolic ripeness and vivid colour — the wine is both vibrant and powerful while holding true to its site. Until 2024, this wine was labelled E Block and cost twice as much, so here you are getting all the wine at half the price.
