The barrel selections across the winery also favoured expressions with less wood influence, allowing the fruit to be more dominant. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThis wine is an excellent expression of the year, which was a breath of fresh air after a string of challenging vintages. The fruit received sufficient fruit from generous rainfall and minimal weather pressure. The resulting fruit shows great varietal flavours with lovely tannin development and a strong line of natural acid.
