The soil is very thin and stony on the lower-lying slope, with the bedrock just 50-60cm below the surface. Yet higher up, on the part of the terroir that borders Chatelots, the soil has a deeper, more clay-rich profile, bringing more depth and power. Ghislaine Barthod blends from one very rocky parcel right next to the Les Amoureuses border, and another from the deeper soils. So we get the best of both worlds. Both plots have old vines (averaging 70 years old) and only make up a quarter of a hectare, hence the wine is extremely rare.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Domaine Ghislaine Barthod","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":49000878899428,"sku":"26203-750","price":449.0,"currency_code":"AUD","in_stock":false}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0648\/2575\/3828\/files\/4270f5ed-bd54-f111-ad59-0ac0955cf5ff_26203-750_..png?v=1779418185","url":"https:\/\/www.internationalfinewines.com.au\/products\/domaine-ghislaine-barthod-chambolle-musigny-1er-cru-les-charmes-2023","provider":"International Fine Wines","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
