This stunning cassis liqueur is made in a totally natural way from Estate grown, organic blackcurrants. It is arguably France's best Crème de Cassis and made from the Chermette's own fruit. The vibrant colour, flavour and aromatics need to be smelt/tasted to be believed. Just incredibly pure and lush. The Chermette's use the local Noir de Bourgogne blackcurrants, which are much smaller than the common blackcurrant. Although its most common usage is in a kir or kir royale (with Champagne), cassis also pops up in many contemporary cocktail recipes: Mojito Diablo, French Daiquiri and how could we forget, the world famous Naked Pretzel. It keeps for months, despite having no preservatives, even longer if in the fridge.
