Great value pinot has been arriving at the IFW warehouse like London buses; you wait ages for one and then three turn up at the same time. Seriously though, it’s fantastic to have this trio of our favourites back in stock, just in time for pinot/duck season. Pinot is the perfect vinous antidote to the approaching autumnal cold snap and as our cooking preferences return to richer meaty braises and rustic savoury fare, this unpredictable grape really comes into its own.

The three wines offered below represent exceptional value and are some of the most exciting examples of the variety to be found domestically. Given Pinot Noir’s remarkable capacity to reflect terroir, here you find three brilliant though varied expressions of the variety in one offer; the elegant, seductive texture and bright fruit of the Denis Clair Côtes de Beaune; the high grown, vivid fruit expression and precision of the Rockburn and the gamey and earthy complexity of the Bannockburn.
