The Adelaide Hills, with its high altitude and cool climate, is a natural home for Sauvignon Blanc in Australia. When offered a parcel of excellent fruit in 2010, the Teusner team set about making this fresh, funky Savvy. The nose is expressive, with tropical fruit characters coming to the fore.... passionfruit, gooseberry, rockmelon and nettles. The palate has a pleasant creamy texture and the finish is zippy with lip-smacking, limey acidity.
