Robert Weil Kiedricher Riesling Trocken 2010

Only the second vintage of Weil's 'Village' blend, this comes exclusively from the three classified sites of Klosterberg, Turmberg and Gräfenberg. An assemblage of "younger" vine material (relatively speaking - the average age of the vines is 30 years!) as well as first picked parcels from the aforementioned vineyards. As an introduction to the Kiedrich-style this is flawless. It's rich in aromas of yellow fruits, apricots and hints of spice and white flowers. A bright, seamless palate of rich fruit, balanced nicely by the tangy, nervous, lime-like acid line and perfectly weighted phenolic grip. Pure, classy juice.
