100% Pinot Noir. This is a wonderfully bright, juicy, red cherry and spice noted red from 30-70 year old vines. It's as refreshing as it is plump, with the ripe, '09 texture perfectly balanced by the fresh, limestone structure. A bargain Bourgogne.
"The deft touch of wood this displayed last year has been completely integrated and allows the ripe and nicely complex red and blue pinot fruit aromas to clearly shine. There is excellent richness to the nicely voluminous flavors that display a slight minerality on the equally complex, balanced and impressively persistent finish that displays only very mild rusticity.
