Full Bottle/Gently Sweet yet racy. 2009 was a sensational year for sweet wines, providing the perfect conditions for this style of wine to be produced. For us, this wine was the pick of the Moelleux bottlings. The gorgeous lifted aromatics of candid peel are classic Clos de Bourg, as is the earth to glass purity, spicy intensity and perfumed length. This is brilliant stuff and take it from us, the bottle disappears almost as quickly as it is opened.
